Research about learning and the student experience now goes well beyond opinion and ‘what works’-scenarios of stage one of technology introduction. In this field lies the power behind the learning futures movement and the greatest potential to address global opportunities. The Futures Institute will focus on bringing forward ‘weaker’ signals from the technological and e-learning environment for consideration and exploitation and provide a scholarly approach to preferred and viable learning futures.
