The technological firmament is endlessly fascinating and complex. Here we are flying past sparkling technologies, some of them unimaginably large and influential. We will understand the significance and relevance and the extent of their orbits. Humans can visit distant learning opportunities and return safely with richer understandings.
Nearly all of the widely used devices such as e-book readers, smart phones, iPods, iPads, Web 2.0 platforms and opportunities have not been developed for learning and need good understanding of potential teaching applications to be successful in new contexts. There are new understandings of the use of knowledge creation, sharing and repositories that can be deployed. Many technologies and opportunities can be channelled through the Learning Management System (LMS) but are not limited by the obvious LMS operation.
